"Lovely hotel if you want a nice relaxing stay in Harrogate."

"When we arrived we were given room 12 but upon opening the door it was filled with builders rubbish. We then waited for a while and the manger came to see us saying he only had 1 other room but it has no hot water. He said we could use the spa for free and was very helpful and kind. He said he will re fund half our money back which I’m not sure how this happens as I still havent had this. If I get my money back I would definitely come again and we did have a really nice time "

Shame I was put in an accessible room as the washbasin was ridiculously small & in truth would be totally impractical for anyone in a wheelchair as they wouldn't be able to get their knees under the sink & it would be impossible to even brush their teeth !! The T V was in an absurd position high on the wall directly to the left when lying in bed ,so one would have to twists in the most absurd position to watch TV. "We were treated for a 1 night stay as a gift so we decided to add on 1 more night good decision the staff are so helpful friendly and cant do enough for you nothing is too much bother the food is homecooked well presented and delicious the woolly sheep is a quirky old building with lots of character a fabulous covered outdoor area which will be amazing in the better weather as the roof goes back to make it an open top area, the rooms are tastefully decorated in a lovely modern style and colours...

"This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

"We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. En suite was well laid out and tastefully decorated. A few hangers were on a rail for our clothes and a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also...
