"Really friendly staff. Service with a smile. Hotel has a great view of the abbey and close to the centre. The hotel is going through a major refurb and we stayed in a refurbished room was was super clean. Breakfast was buffet style with eggs being cooked to your liking. We only stayed for a short break but would definitely return if visiting Whitby. "

"This is our second stay at the Fox and Hounds. The staff are very welcoming. The food is excellent, with an extensive choice available. The room was clean, and well presented. "Room was small but adequate, but the amazing views from both windows certainly made up for it. Room was not dirty but lots of old cobwebs hanging from ceiling and fluffy dust on lights.
