The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood."

"Very welcoming to us and had to come back to the hotel to check us in as we arrived late on day of arrival. We were told we had to inform them of arriving after 8pm but this was not mentioned in our Hotels.com reservation. The following morning reception called us to offer us advice on the surrounding area as we did not have any time during a normal check in process. I thought that this was a very nice touch. Our room, in an annexe across the street, was large and spacious with very comfortable...

The staff were very welcoming, with a quick and efficient check in/out. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast, both were top notch. "The hotel is cozy and very pet friendly. The decor feels like a old German home. Bed was comfy and room was clean. My favorite part of the hotel was the restaurant downstairs. I have a pork and noodles which was AMAZING! My dog was even able to hang in the restaurant. Morning breakfast was very good. "
