"Stayed here, as I had a meeting in the town and my customer recommended this hotel. My room was enormous, and given my late arrival time (after 9pm), the staff in the kitchen (despite it having closed) made food for me as I was starving. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I didn't check out the gym but if the rooms are anything to go by, this will be one of the best hotel gyms I have been to. Parking was also free, which was a big bonus and plenty of space available."

"Perfect for an extended stay! I love the honest grocery store they had and the restaurant was delicious! Plus, you can order bread for the morning. The staff was beyond amazing and friendly!! Also, we love that it was pet friendly but under the bed there was a lot of animal hair. Nice surrounding area, beautiful to walk around and a cute little town. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Nice place to stay in the Black Forest region. Clean comfortable room. Check in was a small challenge due to language barrier, but quickly done. Restaurant food and service was great. There is no elevator to second floor in one building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the set of stairs. The St Margen cloister museum nearby is a must see for any clock enthusiasts."

Scent stay for a good price

"Overall good stay. Excellent location with hiking trail nearby. Apartment looked unused for a while since webs and spiders were around. Pictures gave false expectation of apartment, but was overall satisfactory."

"Very comfortable, very clean and modern rooms. Yet there are heirlooms all over the buildings that you will never see anywhere else. The hotel is quiet and comforting. The restaurant had a great breakfast and dinner options were extensive. All the food was very well prepared. Drink options are exceptional and there is an extensive wine list. All that aside, the staff makes this place. Super nice people, very knowledgeable, and very helpful."

Apartment "Haus Mühlenfranzenhof" with Balcony & Wi-Fi

"Outstanding views took my breath away no matter which road we travelled on. We visited everything on our list and was not disappointed. However, everything, including shops and restaurants closed extremely early where we were staying so we went back to our chalet for the evening which was disappointing. Our host was unable to help with simple things such as how the tv worked and places of interest due to her lack of English. I would like to visit the Black Forest again but probably at a different venue, and having said all of this we did enjoy our time sightseeing."

"I booked this place based off the internet picture. I The property was nothing like the picture. Instead it was in a large apartment building. There was no breakfast. We were told there would be tokens to do laundry and there were none. It took someone all day before they got back to us about these tokens ad we were told the people before us used all the tokens. The next door neighbor told us not to shut the door hard because he could hear it. He told us to go to the second floor to speak with someone. That apartment had the name of the person I thought I was emailing. When he answered, he basically told us not to knock and shut the door in our face. "
