Only negative was the shower gel was running very low and not filled up and only two hangers in the wardrobe which was not enough for our five night stay. Location was ok, not many eating places next to the hotel but only a short walk to the train station where there were great transport links and places to eat. "The location of the East-West Riverside is amazing. Very convenient to many of Basel's tourist areas and has beautiful views of the river. It's clean, and well-kept with modern furnishings and decor. There was a small Christmas market (just food and beverages) right outside the front door of the hotel that we really enjoyed (early December). Breakfast was good but minimal, like an American continental breakfast. Only 2 complaints: flat pillows and the room was always too hot. We kept a window...
