"The Riu Guanacaste All-Inclusive Resort provides excellent service, clean and spacious rooms, and a beautiful setting. Our room in the quiet new building was ideal for relaxation, though the long walk to the beach and bars might not suit those with mobility challenges. The mini-fridge was restocked every two days, and we had no issues using the in room safe. Meals were fresh and flavorful, even at the buffets, and the drinks were great. The pools were warm, like bath water, and the ocean...

"This hotel is across from the Liberia airport. My return flight left at 7am. I used the shuttle to the airport. Lovely pool and restaurant."

"The property was beautiful however there is only Wi-Fi in the main lobby and not in the rooms. Parking is also a bit inconvenient because it’s so far from the rooms. A lot of people had to walk up a very steep hill to get to the main lobby where all the food and the pools were. overall it was a good stay. "

Lovely pool with chaise lounges that had a "top" so you could shield your face from the sun, see to read a book, etc. Tiki hut restaurant was good but a bit understaffed. Our sleeping room was just OK. Bathroom not very clean and water ran all over the floor from the shower. Also, there was no sound proofing, and we could hear our neighbors partying until 2:30 AM. "

The late afternoon and evening entertainment was a lovely addition as well. And you can’t beat the location. Close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and great local soccer/football right outside the door. "
