"Loved everthing about it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Avelina is one of the staff( California restaurant) waitress who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Entertainments were great especially the Michael Jackson show. My daughter enjoyed celebrating her 18th birthday here. My 10 year was never bored. Too much to do. Loved it."

"Great value hotel. It isn’t super fancy but it is very clean, nice-looking, and well-maintained, and feels like a classic Mexican hotel. It is only a ten-minute walk from the marina and other areas of interest. Lots of good restaurants nearby within a short walk or a cheap uber ride. Occasionally traffic passing by can be loud but I’m a heavy sleeper so it wasn’t a problem for me. The restaurant attached to the hotel is great and offers a discount to hotel guests. "This hotel was clean, quiet and as a solo traveler I felt safe. It’s far from beach/ downtowns but El Merkado has great food and is right there. Rooftop pool was nice"
