"5 Night Stay close to family. Did the job, staff were excellent, my bed was a bit bouncy but wifes ok. Breakfast lovely could not fault. Bar reasonable priced and draft beer was good unlike some hotels we have stayed at. Little things that can make a difference to some people should be acted upon and not much to fix were: Needs new toilet roll holder and some paint to cover mould especially in bathroom. "Very convenient location and parking. Lovely area in central Newbury which is pedestrianised during the day. Nice hotel rooms sympathetically modernised with character. Staff very very helpful. Only negative was noise after 10 pm of customers in the outside area. They weren’t being rowdy but the sound carried enough to keep us awake. "
