"What a fabulous couple of days we had at The Jack Russell. The food was definitely ‘up market’ for a pub; offering a varied menu and superb meals. We ate there both nights and were very impressed. "I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "
