"This a lovely hotel with sea views. The staff are very freindly and accommadating. The hotel was easy to get to and had plenty of parking. We were booked to have a cooked breakfast but they changed this to a continental in your room. It was cold porridge pots and muffins. There was granola with dried fruit with milk in the fridge. It would have been nice to have porridge pots that needed boiled water and Croissants. There was no extra fan in bathroom and the doors had no soft hunges. This meant...

"Good value, ground floor rooms easy access. Fresh just-refurbished feel to the place. Very friendly staff and good quality food excellently prepared. I appreciated the minimalist unpretentious stay. "

"The Sugarbeat B&B is a great home from home, staff, food and service is top notch! Our room ‘Manilow’ was ok but noisy in the morning from 0700 with extractor fans for kitchens, plus doesn’t go off until 1100. The room low roof made it very difficult to relax, plus only one chair to watch tv or have a coffee in room. Cleanliness could be a little bit better with some stains and marks on furniture. Overall an excellent place and have booked again for April."
