The family suite can get very warm in the main living area, although there is air conditioning in the one bedroom. There isn’t a lot immediately around the property, so you will need a vehicle or plan for private transportation or tours if you want to see the island. "

"Had a wonderful 10 day stay at Chantauvent. Behind the hotel is Blue Bay beach, one of the best beaches in Mauritius. Great opportunity to snorkel and see marine life. "Amazing stay it was so relaxing. Great welcome Davy made us feel so at home and provided anything we needed. She was just fab a great asset to the business. The house was stunning five minutes from the airport, lovely pool everything immaculate, if we are here again this would be our number one choice to stay. We have travelled the whole of Mauritius and this was buy far our favourite for the cost, just lovely. Thank you Davy for all your hard work and warm hospitality, so appreciated"

"Rooster in garden makes a homely feel together with sound of ocean. Beach chairs and umbrellas just a step down from room we were in. Open restaurant. Is pleasant looking out over activity of boats taking out tour groups or and the sunset. Bathroom condition is tired and no towel rails. Supermarket close by which is handy as there is fridge, kettle and 4 burner hot plate but no supplies or water. There are some nice restaurants and some clothing and boat tour shops very close. P"
