"Perfect spot for an active retired couple. We spent a week in apt during our month touring Mauritius, Rodrigues and La Reunion. For this stay we didn’t have a car and used the local buses to get to Grand Bay and Port Louis and walked along the coast in both directions. Our daily house keeper Rka was lovely. She brought papaya from her garden and told us which buses to catch to get around much cheaper than Taxi’s. There is a supermarket about a 20 mins walk away and a smaller shop within 300...

"Lovely villa - as described. Francesca, the maid was delightful and couldn’t be more helpful - she did our washing and cooked a couple of meals as well as keeping the villa nice and clean. Clivy, the property manager was on hand at all times and answered any questions immediately as well as organising transport requirements. Would highly recommend this property and hope to be back soon."

"We had a wonderful stay at the villa, the photos don’t do it justice, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need. The outdoor area is very large with beautiful views of the bay and the location is convenient to travel the island. Hosts and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend."

"On our arrival date, the owner told us that they have misread our arrival date and thought we would arrive one day later, the property was over booked, so they led us to the next property, Sunset Villa, that property Sunset Villa was a downgrade from Blue Lagoon Villa which we have originally booked on. After half an hour lying on the big bed, I had 9 bug bites all over my body, on my arms, my legs and my back, could not sleep, so I had to switch to the smaller bed. We would not recommend this...

"Value for money if you're on a budget. Positives are location with a private beach and kind of out of the crowded spots of Mauritius. Excellent staff and Mr. Shreeni the manager is an asset for their company. He manages his clients efficiently. Negatives are power cuts & related water problems are there, bit of a old villa and not a carpeted one for a 3 star status. "

"We absolutely loved the house. Has everything you will need. Owner was really good in providing us with a pressure cooker which I had only inquired if its available. Patrick who looked after us as the regular manager was not there did eveything he could to help us with local info and check in / out. Asha the cleaner cooked us a nice meal when we asked . "Filthy place. Not half what is advertised. Dirt pool, dirty fridge. No free wifi no free cable tv, not even a bed sheet to cover during the night. 2 towels for 4, of which one scratched. Safety concerns with broken elec near the pool. Room not ready on arrival, breakfast not ready the next day (very basic) birds eating the pervious day leftovers in the restaurant kitchen, not clean either."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Chris helped us all the way and supported us with every question. The villa was well equipped for us who cook, but well located for supermarket or restaurant. The beach is walking distance, with tour companies willing to take you for dolphins or visits. The pool was clean and children used it every day.
