"This historic hotel is a gem. Location could not be better. The owners did everything possible to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The owners have remodeled the rooms carefully preserving its character. Food is excellent. "

"Pros: Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, easy parking, good location, lucky to find any accommodation at all as it was the last room available on the island. Cons: We apparently booked a "budget room" although we paid 300 Euros for 2 nights. Toilet and showers were across the corridor and not private. The room was terribly hot and noisy in the morning when early birds packed their cars. "
