"Property was a bitt hard to find in the dark since there is no sign that says "The Hillsboro"- you have to look for a very tiny orange sign that has the address number on it and the driveway is almost hidden. Once there, though, the staff was great, the hotel was clean and looked freshly renovated, and the room was clean. My one suggestion would be too better weather-seal the rooms since the tile floors were slick with condensation from the humidity of the day."

"My group had an amazing time staying at this property! The view was absolutely beautiful, everything was very clean, and the staff was amazing! You will always be greeted when walking by the front desk and other staff will check on you to make sure you have everything you need. Zoe’s beachside grill had amazing food and drinks. I would’ve ate there every single day if it were up to me. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to that area. Highly recommend!!!!!"

"The best thing about the property was that it was right on the beach. The amenities such as the pools, jacuzzi, outdoor grills and general grounds were immaculate. The staff obviously takes great pride in caring for this 60 year old resort. The price was also very fair. One problem was that the Murphy bed in our Studio unit was that the AC was within one foot of the side of the head of the bed which then blew directly in the face of the person sleeping on that side of the bed. "Everything was very clean , shower was great plenty of hot water . Older style unit but comfortable and everything works"

"We were there for a short stay but plan to come back in the spring or summer. Short walk to the beach. At least 5 if not 10 restaurants in walling distance. Large private pool on the roof and a grilling area that is private as well. Perfect place to meet with friends or family and enjoy a week. It large full kitchen so you can cook meals and share them with your family as well."
