The cafe served excellent food and was reasonably priced but we felt that the restaurant menu wasn't particularly good. The view from our room was superb & the champagne breakfast delivered to our room was a real delight. "The accommodation was fantastic! Second time staying here and would definitely come again. The peacocks that seemed to come to our window every morning were good fun & the kids loved them. There’s only one slight negative which is the pool temperature which I believe isn’t suitable for children…Adults will be fine but the last two times we’ve stayed here the children have never been able to enjoy the pool due to it being too cold. "Not quite sure it meets 5 star standard. Room space is lovely, plush and beds super comfy. Bathroom quite basic but shampoo etc provided. Spa ok but could with refurb now as facilities dated. One if the steam rooms out of order. Large glass door smashed and awaiting repair. Loungers by pool were soggy and stank. Lifts up to the spa all out of order Breakfast was the highlight. Ok hotel but nothing special. "
