Spent an enjoyable night with my husband at the Mill House Inn. Dinner and breakfast were good. However this is an old property and the drawbacks are that there is no soundproofing and our room’s floor was not flat.

A warm and friendly welcome, lovely staff, clean and comfortable rooms. We spent one night at NYE here and the food and entertainment was great. Lovely breakfast! Thanks to everyone for a great stay at the Mill House, we’ll definitely be back!

Generally clean, bit of dust under bed and on headboard. Bathroom needs a shower mat as it's very slippery. Bathroom window could do with some privacy film fitted as loo is next to the window and overlooks patio seating area. Blind doesn't give enough privacy. Room 10. Overall a lovely stay.

The staff were wonderful, the facilities and food were absolutely superb. The location and ease to get to scenic places was really great and we had the first few days of our silver wedding anniversary in a wonderful setting. Thoroughly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect place to stay, would happily rebook and look forward to having another wonderful holiday. ❤️❤️

The new owners have made good progress with upgrading the property which is in an excellent location and offers huge potential. The staff are very customer focused and the food was excellent.

FULL REVIEW ON YELP & GOOGLE. Do not stay here . This “inn” is dirty , small rooms , uncomfortable beds , lots of stairs (definitely not a place for anyone that is mobility challenged ) minimal amenities with broken furnishings and at least one condescending employee. Here’s some of the issues we encountered . The WiFi ONLY works in the breakfast area . The WiFi DOES NOT WORK in your actual room . You will NOT have cell service at the Mill House therefore having WiFi to power your cellular data is important - you won’t have WiFi here unless you stay in the breakfast area which is not close to where your room will be. The employee on duty insisted if you connect to their WiFi in the breakfast area it will work in your room - IT WILL NOT WORK in your room. I observed other guests also complain about the lack of advertised WiFi. Let’s talk about the room. Our room was tiny , barely enough space to turn around in . The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable . There was a layer of dust on the dresser . There were spiders webs . There was an actual spider in the room - granddaddy long legs . There was an exposed screw that I scratched my leg on where a drawer knob was broken off . Inside the bathroom , the toothbrush holder was broken and caused a mess with the faucet at one point . Also , there is NO AIR CONDITIONING in the rooms . On the day we stayed , it was very hot . The room we were assigned was facing the sun so it caused (FULL REVIEW ON YELP & GOOGLE)

This is a quirky, out of the way guest house. I imagine it as an old traveler's tavern. The rooms are over the bar. Not a problem, except it was world cup soccer, and England was playing Spain. It was a bit loud, but understandably so. And it quieted right down by midnight. People were super friendly and helpful.

Quaint and peaceful.
The grounds had real potential! The building was really old. There were only 4 rooms being rented and they put us furthest away up gobs of stairs! I will say that they did have fantastic water pressure which I appreciate. The food and service were good.

Old , Tired and Very dirty.
The room was very tired and absolutely filthy, pubic hair on the floor in the bathroom, excrement all under the toilet seat, so much mold in the shower it was disgusting. All the surfaces in the room were covered in thick layers of dust,multiple cobwebs, tie straps holding the ill fitting curtains on, coffee cups not clean. The bed was very old & uncomfortable, the room smelt musty because of the damp. As soon as i entered the property stairwell the lack of cleanliness was very apparent. Just very please we were only staying one night which is a real shame because the location is quite beautiful.
