"Fantastic old Rectory in a quiet country area ideal for walks along the nearby canal. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice cooked to order. Staff were helpful and friendly. Decor needs a bit of TLC but it is an old listed building."

"Very quirky and charming building stairs to access bedrooms would not be suitable for everyone. Staff on the whole were very pleasant and attentive. The entrance to the car park is quite narrow but it was great to have the option. The hotel is right on one of the main shopping streets with lots of lovely coffee shops and gift/antique shops. The breakfast was lovely with high quality ingredients. "

"The hotel exceeded our expectations, we didn't expect 4-5 star service from the budget hotel with such low price, and we read through the previous reviews, so we really expected an old traditional place rather than modern network hotels. However it was better than in the reviews. The hosts are very kind and helpful, the breakfasts and dinners were excellent. It's incredible how 1 woman can cook so many delicious meals for guests.
