It has minor issues being an old building which didn't affect my stay, such as some noisy floors under the carpet, and the fact that it does not have an elevator. But we loved the stay, this hotel makes you feel part of the town history. My oldest kids found it great to stay here. We loved Dahlonega and will definutely visit again. "

"We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visit the area. It was a great value for what we paid. We had a bedroom, a loft bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room for the same price I've paid for a regular hotel room. The key is to go into it with your eyes open. The property is older and it shows. There were dings in the furniture and the decor was outdated. But it was clean (the baseboards and ceiling fan could have used a wipe down but the everyday stuff was clean). If you...

"The property is very well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, they leave at about 5 PM and as a result for sometime, I was the only person in the whole place. I tried very hard to make sure I didn’t think about the movie “The Shining”. Once I got comfortable, it was very nice! I highly recommend."
