"The Sunbird Lilongwe is a very nice place to stay when traveling. The staff if all amazing - very helpful and accomodating. Yasmin in the restaurant was great at serving our table. The one problem was the Wifi. It would not stay connected and we constantly had to log in. Also turn down service was hit or miss. Some nights we had it some nights we didn't. There was also a beautiful pool and nice fitness center. Overall we would definitely stay again!"

"It’s near everything you need for a one or two night stay. It is an older place and could use some updating. Poor WiFi and poor air conditioner. I asked to be moved from the first room and the second wasn’t much better. What keeps me coming back is the location, the staff and the food. Especially the breakfast which is worth every penny. "PLEASE go elsewhere if you have the choice. Poor room service, the restaurant does not have a good decent menu. However, the people working at the hotel are kind and try their best with the limited tools and training they have been empowered with.There is no shuttle service attached to the hotel. "I greatly enjoyed my time at the Residence for many reasons. Chawa picked me up from the airport. The fee to get into town was less than half the posted charge for taxis.
