"The Cain Valley is steeped in tradition and about as far from todays modern chain hotels as you can get. Great service, fair prices, good beer and enthusiastic staff. Very much a breath of fresh air. Its also well frequented by the locals - which is usually a good sign. but can get a little noisy at closing time. So recommend you ask for a room not over the Public Bar."

"Very friendly and cozy spot. Beautiful site on river - only downside is proximity to major road in the front and pub music in the back - but it was not a significant issue for us. Food in restaurant was very good."
