"Room was clean with a very comfortable bed and great shower. There was plenty of tea and coffee. Proximity next to a main road there was a fair amount of traffic noise"

"We had paid a £10 pp deposit on the evening meals. When coming to pay the staff claimed no knowledge of our deposits. It is not acceptable to have to make breakfast menu choices the day before. I have never come across this at any other hotel"

"This is an old hotel, which does need some tlc, however, the receptionist told me the rooms are nearly finished a refurb and whats been done so far is lovely. Our executive double was large, warm and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was served fresh, hot and good quality. Great location. Shame its £9 a night to park but as the accommodation is so reasonable we didnt mind. Much better than many other sheffield hotels."

"Changed rooms due to noisy pipes, but they were very helpful about this. Couldn’t ever get through to anyone at reception. Went down to order good, sent the wrong food! Ate it anyway as was very hungry! It was good. Breakfast was good. "

"Modern style & decor. We heard someone describe it as an ‘outdoorsy styled Premier Inn’ and would agree, with some nice additions of all day hot drinks and 4pm cake. We had a ‘small double’ room but this was a generous size with plenty of storage to unpack into. Everything was clean and the linen & towels were good quality. The shower was delightful after a long day of walking & the toiletries smelled nice. Food on the first night was underwhelming (burger & chips and pizza) but the Sunday...

"Love being at the Trafford when I visit my patents. So central and so much cheaper than anything else around Alderley. Love having the bar there too."

"I didn’t realised that immigrants are staying at that hotel. Kids are wondering around at the car park and playing. Security are all round. I didn’t expect security at the hotel. First when we enter bit worried. But later we are fine inside our room."
