"Rooster in garden makes a homely feel together with sound of ocean. Beach chairs and umbrellas just a step down from room we were in. Open restaurant. Is pleasant looking out over activity of boats taking out tour groups or and the sunset. Bathroom condition is tired and no towel rails. Supermarket close by which is handy as there is fridge, kettle and 4 burner hot plate but no supplies or water. There are some nice restaurants and some clothing and boat tour shops very close. P"

The Seven Coloured Earths are a geological formation and prominent tourist attraction found in the Chamarel plain of the Rivière Noire District in south-western Mauritius. It is a relatively small area of sand dunes comprising sand of seven distinct colours (approximately red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple and yellow).
