"It was decent. There are safes in the rooms but ours didn’t work. When I told the owner , he said that nobody were using them anyway. I said that people probably didn’t because they were not working, although they looked brand new. He responded that they needed batteries, but they didn’t need any since nobody was using them. This is definitely the wrong answer to qualify for being customer oriented. Some staff lacked grooming."

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "Very good value for money. Nice accommodation with a nice pool. Nice easy walk into sarlat but a bit of a climb on the way home. The owners are very nice and serve up freshly baked baguettes every morning,just put your orders on the board. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"We were disappointed upon arrival to learn that the onsite restaurant was closed. Our stay was at the end of the season but we were unaware of the closure. This was the only problem with our stay. At first WiFi to our room did not connect but manager/owner worked diligently and successfully got it working! "The facilities are lovely. A charming French farmhouse and associated buildings. The bedroom was plain, no frills, more like a Motel 6 but with not as good plumbing. "

"I have stayed here before as it has a lovely pool ( nice to relax at after sightseeing) and is in walking distance to all amenities. The rooms are simple and clean with all you would want with the exception of a hook to put the shower head on, however works well when holding it by hand. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again."

"One of our favorite hotels in France! Lovely location overlooking the peaceful Dordogne area in a tiny charming town. Friendly staff goes out of their way to assist guests! Fun ping pong. Fabulous dinner salad! Terrific breakfast with homemade treats and excellent fruit in variety. Wonderful pool with views. Not too large, so the staff can make personal recommendations—all seem to enjoy their work. Quite a marvelous and relaxing place!"
