The walk to town is 25 minutes and the hill is tough to walk if you are not in good shape. The owner lives on site, he is a friendly man but there is no reception and check in information was sent to me the day I arrived and had no internet connection. "It was a beautiful property! Like a treehouse tucked away in the jungle, but right on the main strip 5 mins across the street from playa Carmen. Close to great cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. Our check in process went smoothly and the private family room was perfect, except that we noticed quite quickly the AC wasn’t working on the 2nd level in the bedrooms.
