We only stayed one night as we were attending a funeral so only used it once and we were in a hurry. "The strength of this hotel is the lovely staff, from the reception to the breakfast staff they were all friendly, helpful and professional. Our rooms were also clean and breakfast well cooked. "

"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."

"Absolutely lovely place. Rooms were great.Beautiful surroundings.Only down side was that we arrived at 1pm, check in was 3pm.Had planned to go to The White Hart Inn, for lunch and drinks,only to arrive there and be told, due to winter staffing, they were not opening until 5pm. I suggested that maybe having a sign on the road advertising that they were open from 8am, should be removed/ amended."

"Evening staff member was in my view not very helpful has tv didn’t work and on asking him about it he said check source button and this didn’t work and was gone before I could tell him although did eventually fix it myself hence why i dropped a star but morning crew were so amazing and friendly and can’t fault them at all- breakfast was great - "
