Footbridge below Low Field Walking the footpath on the north side of the River Greta from east to west, one crosses a stile and is suddenly confronted with a surprise scene, as the small reentrant beck on the other side of the wall has cut a little gorge which was invisible from the approach. A jig to the right reaches this little footbridge leading to the continuation of the footpath to Bowes.
