"Stayed at this hotel during the January 2025 blizzard. Due to the blizzard, they were understaffed. However, the staff were friendly and responsive; my room was clean and had a nice sitting area; and the breakfast provided had a nice variety. Positive experience and a nice price. "

"We were stranded in KC due to a blizzard on 1/5/25 and in desperation to find a hotel, we found the Hilton Kansas City Airport. The hotel was rather short staffed due to the weather but they handled the situation extremely well. Some of the staff were working 20 hour shifts. They were overworked, and short on resources but they took great care of us nonetheless. "The front desk staff were super kind and helpful throughout our stay as well as the bussing staff throughout our breakfast! I wish the hotel itself would get with the times, it’s in desperate need of an update and facelift. "

"I must admit, while this is a pretty nice hotel, I was taken aback with the cost of the breakfast boxes and the laundry. I’ve stayed at other Sonesta hotels and the guest laundry was free. "

"Stayed here the day after the huge storm that dumped 11 to 14 inches of snow on the city. Streets and the parking lot was only minimally cleared. Actually the local street wasn't cleared at all but the hotel lot had a decent path around it. Couldn't chance going anywhere else since i was already stuck once on the city road. Nobodies fault, but it made exploring difficult. Pantry store was picked over but the front desk was very nice about the offer on what they did have. Pool was closed, but...

"Wonderful, relaxing getaway alone, for small group of close friends, or couples. The hotel itself is quiet, but not dead. It's not for guests looking for night life or heavy partying. The spa is a sanctuary...quiet space. "

"Wonderful stay considering the circumstance of being caught in the flight delays due to the snowstorm in MCI. Large influx of travelers at one time but the property and staff handled it as best as you can expect. Some extended wait times for dinner and complementary drinks occurred but overall still fine. Breakfast service was wonderful as well."
