"The bar and restaurant are great and the food is exceptional, one of the best meals I have had! I stayed in Room 15, which I have stayed in before, which is a bit on the small side and could do with a tea making table instead of having to use the bedside table. The worst issue is that on both occasions', the room has a strong smell of "drains/damp" Whilst I would happily stay here again, I would not stay in this room again"

"We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. "Would have given it 5 stars if we'd have been able to have a go at the footgolf. The price seemed good just wasnt sure on the condition of the playing area so we didnt risk it. The place was so tranquil. We'd potentially go again maybe in summer though although it was plenty warm enough even in the coldest days of winter "
