"We had a good deal at this hotel, one night stay with breakfast for 2 people was £80. The hotel itself was modern and very clean, the room was comfortable with a decent size bathroom and big shower for a hotel. Breakfast was good too. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a few things that let it down though, firstly they charged me £20 to park there for the night!! Very cheeky, so really it was £100 for the night and I might have got a better deal. "Stayed at the Old Swan for one night. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Went to the bar to get a hot chocolate at 9pm only to be told the machines were switched off so i could only get and instant chocolate made with hot water, which was disappointing. Communal areas in the hotel are nice, but the rooms feel a little dated. Floorboards were incredibly noisy and every time i sat on the bed and leant against the headboard, the bed started to slide away from the wall. "

"I loved the spacious lobby, dining room, wide staircases and lovely stained glass windows. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the meals were good and varied. My room was clean and well serviced and hospitality drinks and cookies replenished daily. I hope I’m able to return one day."
