"First off, it would appear that the owner of the apartment matters…as our apartment was lacking greatly in many areas, while other family members stayed in a tremendously better apartment in the same complex. Our apartment in fact, despite being booked months in advance, wasn’t even ready…so we stayed in a temporary setting until the one we booked was ready. "The hotel is simple but decent, located pretty close to waterfront and most places of interest are in walkable range from here. You can find bars, restaurants (the is a good breakfast restaurant right behind and the famous Ceylonese Restaurant next to it), 7-eleven. The was a slight funky smell in the shower and this could be improved. They also let us check in early which was nice bonus for us. "
