"Interesting property with many retained aspects of the old prison. Rooms ate obviously small, with little storage, no hair driers etc. slightly disconcerting obscured glass loo and shower 'box' in the room. Great breakfast, with good choice. "

"This was my third visit to the charming Hotel Adler Zürich. I love the convenience of being in the middle of the Old Town and very close to tram routes. Excellent buffet breakfast in attractive dining room. It is probably worth mentioning that major services replacement work is being carried out in the square outside the Hotel and work starts very early on work days--but the weekend was very quiet. Fortunately the excellent double glazing really helped to reduce the building noise considerably !...

"Lovely modern room located steps from the train station and various museums and attractions and central to several tram lines. Concierge was very helpful at recommending places to eat and things to do. Great breakfast with breads, meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, and hot and cold cereals, juice, coffees, etc.."

"This was an awesome hotel. 10' walk from train station and no stairs (however, there are cobblestones). The front desk staff were particularly awesome. I forget her name, but one of the ladies was so helpful when my husband needed some medical help. Very much appreciated! The only small negative is that the soap dispensers were VERY hard for me to squeeze (both shower & sink) to get soap dispensed - but I do have arthritis :( Other than that, don't hesitate to book these lovely, yet affordable...

Its location does mean you always hear the inevitable buzz of the city even in the small hours, but it’s never too obtrusive. "

"I found the room to be spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is very modern and ia 5 minute walk (if that) to the train stop. If I remember correctly Kriens is only 2/3 stops away from Lucerne which I think is a fantastic town. The offer the usual continental breakfast which I found to be fresh each day. Overall I had a really comfortable stay. "
