"The staff were excellent. Restaurant was great. But, No provision to make a coffee in the room or on the premises was annoying as it was very difficult to find anything open in the village to get a coffee. Shower head was stable and water flooded the floor. Also, most of the people in the hotel were elderly and getting over a steep bath to have a shower is a health hazard."

"This is an amazing place to stay if you're coming to Colmar for the Christmas market. The hotel is right on the main street where the market is held, but it's very quiet when the windows are closed. The rooms are historic but have been modernized, and are a special treat for folks from the USA who don't have regular access to this kind of special experience. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel was fantastic. The rooms are modern, spacious and have the bonus of either a memory foam or standard pillow. There is water bottle filling station and a coffee machine in the lobby available at all hours. The breakfast buffet had a plentiful selection, though there is a charge. The only drawback is the long walk,a good 30 minutes from the train station. 12 mins to the Christmas markets. "

"In France all hotels below 4* are big disappointment and this particular one should not have a star range assignment as it looks like a motel. Dirty towel had to be changed on our arrival. "

"Good value overnight stop on the way home from Italy. Family room was an unusual layout with twin beds in the room and a double on a mezzanine above the bathroom, reached by a ladder! Small bathroom, a bit tight for 3 adults sharing this room. Staff very helpful, all spoke English too."

"The hotel is very nice. The staff are super kind and friendly. Free parking in front of the hotel is included. The room is also equipped with an AC. The sink in the bathroom is a bit old and rusty but overall we had a great time there. "
