"Had a fabulous wee break. Inverary is very welcoming, excellent choice of quality dining. Cottage was great, reminded me of a family trip to Inverary when I was a child. Only complaint was the poor shower pressure, which is essential for long hair, and slightly temperamental water temperature. We would happily return."

"On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. "

"Sue and Avril really made our stay pleasant. From the moment I had contact with Sue (requesting another night stay) to dinner reservations and afternoon tea when we arrived, she was constantly engaged with us and making our stay at her beautiful Thistle House warm and welcoming. "Very secluded, a number of miles down a single track road with passing places. The hotel itself is the key property down the road with no shops. The property has its own harbour with boats and fishing equipment. There are electrical car charging points if you need them. Very dog friendly with free treats. The restaurant was very good and all the staff extremely friendly. Fantastic views across the loch. "

"Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied.
