"A stunning Scottish baroque mansion in an idyllic setting. Beautifully designed in a sympathetic way but fit for modern times. Clearly, the owners have poured their heart and soul into making sure this experience will be unforgettable for the guests. Impeccable and friendly service. great location

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and they had a good service. The breakfast was very good in 2 of the times I ate there. But there were other times, may a different chef, it wasn't so good... the room was cleaned every day, but they didnt replaced the water ( it was given only a small bottle for our entire stay). The shower was excellent. I highly recccomend, no matter fact I would use the Muthu hotels at any countries they operate. Thanks"

Comfortable, central, rooms above pub

"We enjoyed our stay here in Oban. The room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and furnishings. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a treat to have a pub downstairs with 150 bottles of whisky to sample!! The rooms are steps away from train/ bus/ ferry and restaurants. We would highly recommend the Vaults. "

"Very good location for exploring the area. Worth getting a room with a sea view. Room very comfortable and clean. Food ok, but it pays to book in advance. Breakfast very good. Parking can be a bit of a lottery, but there’s a public car park nearby. Easy walk into the centre of Oban and a nice walk up the back of the hotel to a castle. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend."

Very enjoyable stay

"My wife and i atayed 1 night at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is very central to Oban and we booked a room with a sea view and the room was spacious and had a lovely sea view. The room was very clean and tidy, and downstairs has a bar called Markie dans which serves good food & drink "
