"The hotel is very big, and some public rooms were quite chilly in the evening, including the restaurant; I had a superior king size room, the mattress was sprung and I could feel the springs; the service tray was very limited, with very cheap biscuits. The chilled water cans were very good. Breakfast was fairly good, but the pastries had run out by 9.15. "

Breakfast, there was a good selection. I ordered evening meals in the bar and they were adequate however limited. My overall stay was very positive and I would recommend this hotel. One thing the hotel would benefit from is a water bottle refil system in a public area. "

"3rd time we’ve stayed here, lovely hotel. Walkable distance into town and only 10-15 mins from train station. Nice rooms and facilities. Let down this time by breakfast service, only two staff trying to clear tables, take orders and ensure replenishment of self service area, that said the hot breakfast was delicious."
