"For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. "After many attemps to make contact on the day of arrival via cobtact number and whats app eventually got some communication. I was told at 2pm on day of arrival(5pm check in) that the appartment was o longer available due to previous occupier causing damage which could not be rectified. Had a exact review not so long ago. Poor communication but managed to sort alternative accomadation so break was not ruined. Be cautious"

My only negative comment was that I am very sensitive to scents and there were heavily scented products and incense used which I had to wash / put away in order to be fully comfortable. I would definitely stay again though! Property management was quite responsive when we contacted them for advice regarding the cooker."

Its location is perfect for visiting York and the park and ride services are cheap and very efficient. "We were a family party of 16, 4 children 2.5 to 13 and 12 adults. The house is roomy and spacious, pool table excellent but darts broken for the dart board so couldn't play had to go out and buy some. Kitchen was okay, there is no garden though so anyone with animals you have to make sure they don't go near the road. No electric charging point for cars which i pointed out to the owner. It is an old property so expect clanky pipes etc. Manager met us at the property to explain the fire alarm...
