"The property was great. The views were spectacular. Just know that is it about 1 hr away from cairo. We made the mistake of booking a dinner cruise for 3 hrs after we landed and it was not enough time to go to Giza and then back to Cairo. I didnt like that we had to change rooms the next day. It was a little inconvenient but both rooms had the views we asked for and the staff was really nice. Breakfast was pretty good. You get what you pay for. I would stay here again for the views alone. "

"We LOVED this hotel. It had a wonderful view of the pyramids from the balcony at day and night. The breakfast was nice and so was dinner. The staff was absolutely fantastic and our driver was so friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here. "Property was at great location, specially at sun set do not miss the roof top pyramid view. Fateh was great and he deserves a shout out for his great service and hospitality. If you are looking for something near pyramids then this is your hotel but if you are looking to stay longer then I wouldn’t as the property needs renovation. "Perfect location for a pyramids visit. Very Noisy area though as the roads are chaotic. The staff were all brilliant and went over and above to help us out when we had a family medical issue, even sending a member of staff with us to the hospital to translate. Rooms are small but convenient and clean, Rooftop Restaurant is nice and cheap with a good selection, and incredible views No other reason to stay in the area though unless you want to venture to the chaos of Giza itself."

"The City View Hotel was a safe and convenient place to stay while I was in Cairo. It is centrally located. The food, I thought was mediocre. There were a lot of packaged items for breakfast and the restaurant served meals that were adequate but the quality wasn’t that great.
