"My second recent stay at Eddlewood Guest House was excellent. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming with everything in place for all types of travellers. Very convenient for local travel links to and from the airport, ferry terminal, to town and all across the mainland of Shetland and beyond. Very good communication from a most helpful host. "We had a lovely big room Yell overlooking the garden. The hotel was peaceful and quiet even though there were some big groups staying. Always plenty of hot water and heating which was needed after being in the cold winds at Shetland. Staff very helpful and polite - they helped us book ferries to Yell and Unst. Breakfast and dinner very plentiful - too much for me at times but you can ask for a half portion. Lovely lounge to relax in on an evening. Highly recommend and we hope to be back at spring time in a couple of years"

"Jayden, Megan and Shawn were friendly and helpful and kind. The hotel is very very old but beautiful and the beds clean and comfortable. The hotel is right in the water so you fall asleep to water lapping at the walls. The hotel is also super convenient as it is right next to the main shopping street. Highly recommend"
