"We have just returned from a 3 day stay in this lovely Riad. We booked our airport taxi through the hotel and the host met us from the drop off point in the Medina to walk to the Riad. Our host was a lovely quiet man who was very hospitable. The Riad was beautiful inside but fairly basic which we liked. "Nice historic property. Good value for money. Rooms bit dated and not sound proof. Great breakfast but cold - fortunately had a toaster / microwave to heat - technically a buffet but has restrictions - the guy adjacent to me was pretty upset when he was refused a second one egg omellette. Which I found was a bit picky on the part of the hotel particularly when they offer a buffet. The omellete was set up and even offered later in the breakfast period with some missing it. "

Two conflicting addresses which sent us on a wild goose chase until eventually a kind shop owner called the number for us and had someone from the hotel come and meet us. The riad was not signposted at all so practically impossible to find as a pedestrian. It was a completely different place with no explanation as to why we had not been given the room I had booked. "This is a lovely riad. Its location is perfect for walking to all the main sights in the medina. All the staff are welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. My room was well presented, quiet, and had everything I needed. It was cleaned to a good standard daily. Breakfast was very nice - though as it is based in sweet items/pasties it wasn’t really for me - though I enjoyed the one I ate and everyone else said it was delicious (it is free and it’s very easy to find alternatives nearby...
