The rooms are very nicely equipped, and while slightly small by US standards, they are very thoughtfully laid out. if I could find a room of similar size and layout in the states I'd book it in a heartbeat. (I am an English speaker and had no access to phone) staff spoke English but were not helpful as I had issues checking in. It was late. "Loved staying in the hotel. Very traditional Japanese style hotel. Room has your own heater and AC for summer. Sound insulation is pretty good. Room has plenty of space for my one person room. The only problem that I can't give 5 star is the bathroom. Seems like there's only 2 male and 2 female baths in the whole hotel, they are single people bath like they have in normal Japanese house. I only used it for one night and had to wait 10mins for the other guy to finish. I went for public baths...

"Great location, nice clean comfortable apartment, good price. We were requested to separate the garbage (which is good, and was done). What we didn't know how to separate we put in a small plastic bag next to trash cans, and left a msg to owner about that. For that we got a fine-ticket and had to pay extra 1500 yen. I understand from him it is the policy in Furano, so maybe not related to the property, still important for next guests to understand this"
