"We made a last minute decision to hike . The motel was 10 minutes from where we wanted to be . It was very reasonably priced . We were welcomed and check in was easy Breakfast was offered but we left early in the morning so we didn’t go eat . The place was a little dated but it looked like they were fixing it up and it was clean so that is what matters . We had a good night’s rest . "

But we came to see family: the goats were just an added bonus adventure, a little test to see if the city kids would enjoy the farm. 100% wonderful experience: feeding a pen full of friendly baby goats, softer than puppies, milking a momma goat, learning their names, markings, the business, etc, just a delight. "We had a great time at the Maplecroft Bed and breakfast in Barre, Vermont. Our host was very accomodating and the room and breakfast were both outstanding. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. No other guest did...

"The hotel is in a great area. Check in was easy and quick. Rooms were clean which i care about that more than anything. I will say our experience was good and had no issues. Beds were comfortable too and the room has a mini fridge which was great for us because we brought some snacks "
