"This is my first time visiting Tokyo and Juyoh was my first hotel/hostel stay. What a great first impression of Japanese hospitality. Juyoh is located in Taito City, which is a charming and quieter area north of Ginza. The room is modestly sized with a tatami style sleeping mat and cushion, which is quite comfortable for people who are minimalists, a sleeping style called "shikibuton." There is no TV. "It was pretty convenient it was really cheap had everything i needed in there but the soundproof was kinda bad it felt like i was in a room with whole bunch of people but other than the wall being thin i am very satisfied i liked the location so many supermarkets and convenient stores to go nearby and train station and bus stop nearby the staffs were nice it’s a simple place to stay i liked the area it was quiet and suburb but close enough to go to middle of the city as well closest busy area...

"Really only good if you are staying for a few days, but price is very good. The bed is only just two cushions that look like they can fall at any time. No elevator either and rather than each floor having a shower, its only located on the first floor so going up and down can be a little tiring. The location is perfect though with it being not too far from the sky tree and Minami-Senju station. Overall not worth the stay unless you are there for few days or on a very strict budget "

"If you don’t speak Japense and are unfamiliar with a bathhouse and not looking for a traditional experience this is not the spot for you. I enjoyed my stay and the experience overall. The building is old and shows its age. However they keep the place clean for how old it is and change your sheets daily. One night was a little to warm for my liking but the other nights were a good cold temperature. I would stay again."
