Easily walk-able to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Note that certain amenities are not included (razors, toothbrush) so bringing one is important. Also, though a non-smoking room was reserved, I was given a smoking room, so make sure you check upon check-in."

"Fabulous hotel. Think it had only just re-opened post a change of ownership and total refurbishment so was spotless. Rooms were very large for Japan with amazing views across the harbour to the sea. Lots of very helpful staff. Lovely rooftop bar (they gave us a voucher for a free drink when we checked in!) and breakfast was very tasty although traditional Japanese i.e. rice, miso, vegetables and rice. Walkable down to the town/harbour but it's a quite a big hill / lots of steps coming back!...

"This is a great place - we had a lovely 2 night stay as a family of 4. The service is personal and thoughtful, and the room was clean and spacious. The complementary sake tasting was a real bonus! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hiroshima. "
