"We thought the staff were so accommodating. Nothing was a problem. We asked to cancel our Japanese breakfast and they applied the cost as a credit toward our dinner meal, which was excellent. Provided an extra pillow and always had fresh towels for the onsen. They also helped with directions to various places we visited. Beautiful view of the river from where you sit in the onsen. "This was a very cozy stay. All amenities and documentation were well prepared and the place was clean. The host was very quick to reply on Expedia (less than 5 minutes) even at 20:00/8:00pm. If you have a family, having a rental vehicle is a must since walking is unsafe, especially in the evenings. Parts of the walk from Shimosato station and Taiji station do not have sidewalks. Access to the the Nachi area for Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route isn't the closest as you'd have to take train and bus,...
