"Fairways Guesthouse is just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Newquay - pubs, restaurants and a Sainsbury supermarket, as well as a cinema, are close by. Two of Newquay's beaches are also only a few minutes away. The famous Fistral Beach is about 20 minutes' walk away. The ideal starting point for Newquay. Free parking is available around the corner or one street away. We never had any problems finding a parking space. The guesthouse is a typical small English townhouse, but it has charm....

"Quirky Shepherds caravan. Pretty new and perfect for couples and maybe a single infant. Lovely hosts met us on arrival, nice touch. 2 caravans to the side of a field, with neatly kept grass, alongside some nice lush grass, great for insects! Inside the lush grass, 2 chill out chairs, for star watching on clear nights. Small patio, with 2 chairs, table. A Firepit, and some logs/firelighters, in a storage box by the caravan. "I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. We arrived about 4pm, unpacked the car and had a Quick Look...

"I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a work stay. The bell tent was very comfortable and there was plenty of bedding available including an electric blanket as it was cold. The facilities are just what’s needed. The breakfast in the summer house was a great start to the day, a great selection to choose from. A lovely setting and I had dinner in a local pub, The Pheasant. Good food and good service all round. "

"Sarah, the owner, gave fantastic service and made great efforts to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for Lusty Glaze beach (or Newquay beach/town centre), the breakfast was reasonably priced as an extra, and parking was free. The room was basic and a little tired, but given the positives it was good value for money. Wouldn’t have stayed if planning to spend lots of time in the room, but was a great base to explore."
