"King's Head Hotel or KA as it is known locally exceeded our expectations. We had 2 rooms booked for 9th November '24. Checking in was a doddle. Greeted by a young man. Following minimal checking in procedure we were shown to our rooms. Rooms were spotless and had only recently been updated. All furniture was of good, solid quality (I think some upcycling of chests of drawers ahd been done). Bathroom was great. A vary large walkinshower complemented by white toilet and wash basin. "Very good parking facilities. Make sure you tell them your registration number, so they can register it. Staff were lovely. Very short walk to the town. It’s a slightly different type of hotel room. It has a sink/microwave/fridge in the room. I think they might cater for people who travel for work. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a decent size. Problem with no hot water this morning. Bearing in mind the parking and proximity to the town, we would definitely use the hotel again. "

"Lovely Rustic Charm, great next to the Broad, freedom to come & go -totally idyllic for me. Quiet, peaceful and commutable to local town, train station. Relaxing and would love to return. Basic but suitable cooking facilities, hot water, good shower, comfortable accommodation. "

"On arrival there is limited information on where to park and where to check-in. Following my experience, I had to provide assistance to another traveller that was also at a loss. The room itself is functional. The bathroom has motion sensor lighting, so the door was closed. Subsequently, due to the lack of ventilation, the bathroom was smelly and there were areas that could do with some mould and mildew spray to sort both its appearance and the smell.
