"Maastricht is a beautiful fusion of beautiful old city and convenient modern city. This hotel is in a great location over looking the river and very close the the primary shopping area. It is also walkable from the train station. It is a very efficient hotel, a little tight on space, but right for the price. "

"Staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms are small but that's what was expected. We were there for 2 nights just to sleep as we visited Belgium and Germany during the day. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

"I really enjoyed my stay! While the room is compact, its feasible and there is enough space. The hotel and room were modern and comfortable. There was always hot water even on an upper floor. The walls were well insulated. I never heard neighbors. The location is excellent! You are within a few minutes walk of shopping, the market square and you can even walk to the main train station in around 10 minutes. A bus is also available. "Upon arrival the property did not have heat or hot water nor bedding for the second bed and they will not return my emails to try and correct the issue. I left immediately without staying and they will not refund me."

"I don’t recommend this place at all! 3 star is for the River view. Had I known this is actually a youth hostel with some “comfort room” I wouldn’t have booked it at this price for my vacation. River view is not but we had to live with youngsters racing in hallway with big noises at 10:40pm every night! "A beautiful family friendly location with something for all of us to do. Only disappointed that we arrived after the reception closed and didn’t know that towels for the bathroom had to be rented for extra cost from the reception. Made showering after a long day of travelling difficult. Loved everything else and would definitely stay again. "

"The property was located in the centre of all the restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the caves for the Christmas market which was a convenient location. The Hotel itself had a large restaurant. There is no lift and a very steep staircase to the rooms. Our room had a faulty lock so each time we tried to go out it took several minutes for the lock to catch. We did advise a member of staff but they did not do anything about it. "The location of this hotel is good, and it was clean, staff very nice, but it's a pretty run down old hotel, and our room was really small and terribly hot, even with the window open, and the fan running 24 hours, it was still really hot. "An amazing host, made extremely welcome, nothing was too difficult. Room clean, well equipped with microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Clean and spacious shower. Host did everything he could to provide a suitable breakfast, with so many extras. In an area, which was very quiet. Would certainly go back!"
