"1) Did not let us check-in till 5pm. Check-in was listed as 2pm 2) Toilet was broken and no soap was provided 3) Broken window that could not close in the room let in all noise from busy street 4) Room was hosed down to clean it making everything in room and bathroom wet, including the toilet paper. Dark hairs still in the bathroom sink 5) Received smaller room than booking 6) No water or basic toiletries like shampoo provided "

"Basic hostel in a great location. Stayed in 4 bed dorm. My only concern is room had an old style key and it was up to each person to lock the door behind them, if this didn’t happen the door stayed unlocked. The 8 bed dorm has an automatic locking door. "

"The Lavana hotel was in a great location. Near central market and in the heart of Chinatown. The hotel was a little dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Reasonable value for money. The area was one of the homeless hotspots at night. They were not a problem and kept themselves to themselves. Nice people going through hard times. I would consider staying again. "

"Just check out after a very good sleep. Bed very comfy and quiet. Very very clean very friendly staff and really good location. Room not big but it's okay since they have provided all nessesery like TV fridge desk nice bed clean modern bathroom hot shower good WiFi. Also water filter and coffee tea as much needed can take without pay penny. We are really had a good time with this hotel. Price also very cheap if compared. Thanks "

"Not worth the price paid. Very inconvenient as we only got one key and one parking space - not friendly for more than three person especially if you have separate plans. Towels looks dirty (white turned gray). Sofa had holes and worn out. One of the legs supported by a nutella container. No access to netflix even though services provided. No hot water in shower!"
