"I chose this hotel for its location next to a ski resort and I liked the look of the tatami rooms. This hotel is very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was small and old, the futon mattresses you use to make your bed were thin and I woke up achy every day. The staff were helpful and friendly with limited English. "The room was beyond expectation. Comfortable beds,the view is fantastic, we really enjoyed the tub in the bathroom. The onsen in the hotel is clean and you can enjoy some relaxing time.Just a few minutes walk to town to restaurants and shopping. "

"Great resort but a bit older style and window is single pane so cold air still seeps thru the hobby and hallway area. Some of the ceiling and walls are cracking and stains. The resort has family friendly things to do like ping pong and arcade area. The hot spa was pretty good. Breakfast is a great experience. Overall, good experience. "
