Ultimately the room I stayed in was not recently renovated, in fact it had to have been many years since, the bathroom ceiling was literally in the process of falling down. "Hotel was nice- decent breakfast- very nice staff. The room we were in needed some updates- especially the bathroom- there was a hole in the ceiling and a metal piece coming away from the ceiling as well. The only reason we noticed it was because it was reflected in the mirror. Other than that, no complaints."
